An Inside Look at the New AVIC F-Series: Voice Control for iPod and Bluetooth

Can't get your head around the new features in our AVIC F-Series Navigation line? Here is an "Inside Look" at a few of the new features.

Part 3:  Voice Control for your iPod and Bluetooth Phone

Freedom of Speech
Restore your freedom of speech! Our new generation of Navigation units offer you the safety and convenience of controlling your music and making calls without the need to scroll through menus, mess with headsets, or fumble with your phone.
VoiceBox Conversational Voice Search Platform™, creates some new unique advantages: the technology accepts and recognizes conversational phrases and language which means you don't have to memorize lists of preset commands, it intelligently filters out superfluous sounds and phrases to accurately recognize the request, and if the user doesn't give enough information in the command, the unit will ask additional questions to clarify the request rather than rejecting it.

Master of Your Music
Use the power of your voice to choose the music you want to listen to. Now you can play your music from your iPod player the easy way -- by asking for it the way you would ask a passenger. Just say the name of your favorite song, artist, album, genre or playlist out loud to select it without scrolling through lengthy playlists or extensive menus.

Look Ma, No Hands!
Make and take phone calls without reaching for the phone or one of those one-size-fits-none headsets. The Pioneer AVIC-F series takes hands-free calling to another level. Simply ask the AVIC F-Series to make those important phone calls using your Bluetooth®-enabled cell phone. With access to your entire phone book, keeping in touch on the road is a breeze.

You can find these features and more on our new F-Series Navigation units: AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT, AVIC-F700BT and AVIC-LINC
