An Inside Look at the New AVIC F-Series: Displays & Illumination

Can't get your head around the new features in our AVIC F-Series Navigation line? Here is an "Inside Look" at a few of the new features.

Part 2:  Displays and Illumination

Blending In
Like their predecessor the AVIC-D3, the new AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT, and AVIC-F700BT allow you to change the illumination color to match your car. Select from among 32,768 different colors to match car interior and dashboard lighting.

Seeing Is Believing
A large high-resolution WVGA LCD touch panel displays mapping details with great clarity and brightness. What does this mean? Basically the standard WQVGA displays that most Navigation units use are 480 x 234 pixels. However, our WVGA display is much higher quality at 800 x 480 pixels. Think of it as watching regular television versus watching it in HD. Big difference in picture quality, right? Images become sharper and more defined, just like our maps and menus on these units.

Not only has our display become high quality, but the display's enhanced GUI (Graphic User Interface) has advanced as well, making system control and management effortless.

You can find these features and more on our new AVIC F-Series Navigation units: AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT, AVIC-F700BT and AVIC-LINC.
