Even at the first glance, you will fall in love with the easy-to-use touch screen controls for your music and brilliant 5.8-inch display for your videos. Album art is also beautifully displayed.

With the optional cable (CD-IU230V) connected to your iPod, you will notice how easily you can find songs, videos, artists, or playlists with a few simple taps of your finger. The AVIC-X710BT also features voice-activated control of your iPod. Simply say the name of an artist, album, playlist, or genre to bring up the next song.

Ditch the Headset with Built-in Bluetooth®
Take incoming calls through the AVIC-X710BT, and be heard clearly without a headset courtesy of Bluetooth technology. Connecting your compatible phone is easy and gives you instant touch screen access to your contacts. You can also dial a contact with the sound of your voice by simply saying “Call Jack Smith.”

iPod® control requires optional CD-IU230V for AVIC-X910BT and AVIC-X710BT, CD-IU50V for AVIC-Z110BT, CD-IU50 for AVIC-U310BT. Navigation systems are compatible with third generation and newer iPods® featuring the dock connector. iPod and iTunes are trademarks of Apple, Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. To use Voice Control to access all iPod content, first connect an iPod to the navigation system, select “iPod” as the AV source, and remain in “iPod” mode until cataloguing is completed -- a message will be displayed when cataloguing is completed. Cataloguing of iPod content will not occur otherwise, which may limit use of Voice Control to access all iPod content.
If music files stored on an external storage device (USB or SD) are played when the system is in Route Guidance Mode, the volume of the navigation guidance voice will be the same as the volume of the music files being played, even if a different “Master” volume or “Voice” volume or “Dynamic” volume has been selected in the “Sound Settings” menu.
MSN® Direct is available for AVIC-X910BT and with the optional tuner (ND-MDT10) for AVIC-Z110BT. MSN Direct requires service subscription (sold separately by MSN Direct). Free 3 months trial of MSN Direct Service is included. To receive MSN Direct on an MSN Direct-ready device, you must be within an MSN Direct coverage area. Coverage areas are affected by reception limitations of the FM network as well as other factors, which may affect the ability of the unit to receive FM broadcasts. Availability of voice command depends on availability of data extraction for iPod and Bluetooth-enabled cellphone, functionality may vary and may be limited.
Bluetooth functionality requires a Bluetooth-enabled Pioneer navigation system and a compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. Certain Bluetooth features may not be supported by all compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices, and/or the functionality of such features may be limited in certain devices or by certain wireless carriers. Some Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones may not be fully compatible with (and certain features/functionality may be limited with) a Bluetooth-enabled Pioneer navigation system.
